Adoption and Pricing
Responsible pet owners understand that their pet is an investment. Please do your research to see if an Australian Cobberdog is the right fit for you and your family.
The price of a pet puppy is $3700 (minus $200 for spay/neuter). This includes a $500 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit which is required once you are committed to getting a puppy. The deposit will be refunded only if we are unable to provide a puppy. This holds your place in line for the upcoming litter and is deducted from the final payment which is due and payable at the time of puppy pick up. When your puppy is spay/neutered a $200 rebate will be returned to you upon veterinary proof of the spay/neuter.
If for some reason the puppy needs to be rehomed, we reserve the right to have the puppy back (for no fee). We do not want any of our puppies to end up in a shelter or a home that is not conducive to the breed.
We do not make puppy allocations until they are around 7 weeks of age at which time we are able to determine which puppy is best suited to the lifestyle of their new family based on their temperament and personalities. We will try to honor as many requests that you have as to color or sex, but please know that pairing the right puppy with the right family is far more important than having a male or female or a certain color.
Although we take every precaution to make sure that our puppies are as healthy as possible, it is possible for a puppy to become ill. Our dogs that are used for breeding undergo a full DNA profile for genetic conditions that are available at the time of testing as well as physical OFA hip and eye certification. If a genetic issue were to arise in your puppy within the first year, we would refund you half the payment after receiving verification from our veterinarian.
We do not cover illnesses and conditions that are related to general puppy/dog care such as feeding, exercise, grooming eye, ear, nail care or bite/teeth issues.
